Background info

The IGIplan CodeMeter contains the complete license information to use IGIplan. There is no additional license file need, as with WinMP or AEROoffice. However it may necessary to change the license information in the CodeMeter. E.g. when changing a Demo License to a Full License or when adding a Beta-Tester state (for upcoming version). To change the license information it is not necessary to sent the CodeMeter to IGI. IGI can create an license update file that must be saved to your CodeMeter. However these update files have a sequence counter. If IGI sends you e.g. a license file to upgrade your Demo License to a Full License and a day later sends you an upgrade of your license to a Beta-Tester state, then you have to apply the license changes in the right order. In this example you first have to apply the Full License and then the Beta-Tester license.

Update the CodeMeter with an Update-File

To change the license in your CodeMeter IGI has to sent you a license file. These files have the suffix: WibuCMRaU.

To apply this change to your CodeMeter you have to connect your CodeMeter to a computer, where the CodeMeter is recognized as CodeMeter. Your IGIplan computer should be able to do this.

It should be possible to just double-click the WibuCMRaU file to put the new license to your CodeMeter.

If this fails, then start the ControlCenter:: “All Programms -> CodeMeter -> CodeMeter Control Center”

Start the Context File Updater, select the WibuCMRaU file and press "Open" in the file browser.
